I Miss My College Days...

When i say i miss my college days, It doesn't mean that I actually miss 'My college' since i have never been to one rather in an off campus here in Qatar doing my B.com and heating up my head with ACCA! ;=(

When i hear the word 'College' it takes me to the imaginary world with a huge campus with lots of friends, angry teachers, sweet girls, beautiful trees, lovely birds around. It is only in movies i saw what a college life is, where guys enjoy their real part of the life with their own selected cohort. I know it is not that entertaining as I imagine. But you know, You need not have to pay anything for imagining or dreaming!! ;=)

It hurts me when my cousins says about their experience about their college days when they come to Qatar for their vacation. Rather i must say, I feel happy that they are lucky enough to enjoy their college days which I'm not blessed with .

Getting in to a college life is the turning point of ones life. Uff, i have been hearing this 'Turning point' often. When I was made to sit in a nursery, i heard my dad saying 'It is my turning point of life' Then when i passed to 1st grade, then when i passed my 10th grade, then 12th grade.. now college.. GOD ! Just realized I was turning around in life. ;=P

"Friendship is cooperative and supportive relationship between people. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, affection, and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis." - Wiki

But for me, friendship means a single soul with two bodies. From College, One have the choice to choose the friend circle they want to. One makes a 'real friendship' bond from the college than from a school or nursery. I'm happy that i made so many friends outta here in 'Qatar', remember i didn't say 'Off Campus'.

It is fun when they celebrate someones birthday's and other occasions it seems. Giving birthday bumps, Cutting out cake, partying around....... I never had a chance to taste all those sweet memories of life neither I can reminisce to my grand children when they ask me in future about my college life, rather i will sit like an old idiotic grandpa on a chaise lounge.

The most interesting part of college life is staying at hostel. God ! I remember my hostel days when i was in 11th and 12th grade. But it is said that college hostels are more liberal than school ones. We were even not allowed to use mobile phones. :=( You have more freedom in college hostel. Still it is fun to hear the way they irritate hostel wardens. I used to laugh out when my cousins says about that. Haha.. Oops I remembered the scene when they fired crackers near hostel wardens room. LOL !! I'm happy that at least i had a chance to live in a hostel though I missed my parents a lot, i learned what life is..

I live with all those stories told by my friends and cousins..

I wish i have a chance been to college.. ;=(

  2. Masters? :#

I believe there is no point in college life once a person get matured. Do you really think i can really 'enjoy' a college life after working here in this desert for 3 years and a sudden change back to college? It may bring disarray in life!

  5. making friends doesn't have a time-frame, it all depends on the circumstances which bring you together.. truth be told - I am more close to my colleagues at office, than my college-mates...

Coz, when it comes to friends from college they tend to move away after a while - they get married, move to some other place, and meets the best-buddies in orkut or FB after a long gap - just to say "Hey, nice to see you here"!!!!

rMs, you are never late in making new friends..

The tone of the post is good :) for a moment I was taken to the memories of four-corner cat calls, bunking classes, texting from the front row to the back row.. and yeah ragging too...

  7. But you are more blessed than your so called cousins. They will never even dream off a pay that you are getting now in your very young age. Thank Allah and look people who are down and dont belittle the blessings you have.
